Marianne Trudel Quintet

Since its first performance at the L’OFF Festival de Jazz de Montréal in
2005, this five-piece band marks an important step in the pianist’s career.
In the following year, she and her band mates embarked on a cross-Canada jazz
festival tour, including a performance included in the annual music competition
held at the International Jazz Fest in Montreal (FIJM). At this
event, she was awarded the Galaxie Radio Canada for best composition (Sur la route). On July 1, 2009, this group made a return engagement
during the 30th annual edition of the FIJM, playing
two sets on one of its main outdoor stages.
